Negotiation results
- India and Russia Artificial Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence- AI) and Blokchen system agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of (Blockchain System).
- In the field of health, both countries will explore the possibility of working together.
- There was also agreement on enhancing cooperation in the field of tourism, digital front, financial techniques and quantum computing between the two countries.
- The next economic strategic dialogue between India and Russia will be organized in India in July / August 2019.
Indo-Russia Relations
- Diplomatic relations between India and Russia are more than 70 years old.
- India has had friendly relations with the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) since the 1950s, and relations were further strengthened by the Indo-Soviet Friendship Treaty of 1971.
- The two countries were then associated with special relations when the India-Russia Strategic Partnership Declaration was signed in October 2000 .
